Hazyview, Mpumalanga derives its name from the shimmering haze that lingers over the eastern Lowveld in summertime. In close proximity to Hazyview are many of Mpumalanga's famous points of interest, such as the magnificent Blyde River Canyon, the 3rd deepest canyon in the world, which features the dramatic rock formations of the 'Three Rondavels', the 'Pinnacle', and 'Bourke's Luck Potholes' - an amazing geological wonder of cylindrical rock sculptures that have been shaped over millennia by the swirling waters where the Mpumalanga Treur River meets the Blyde River.
As well as quad bike riding, abseiling, horse riding, kloofing, mountain biking, hiking, caving, and for the less adventurous, golfing on one of three scenic and challenging golf courses in town along the Sabie River.
