I booked No. 209 for the first time in June 2014. Well, it was the best choice ever! I booked again for 2015. The entire flat is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. It is spacious and well-equipped and has a wonderfully large balcony overlooking the beach. Only a pathway separates the flats from the beach. This beach is great for long walks but not safe for swimming. The lifeguards are on duty further up on the main beach which is a short walk away. The underground parking is safe and secure. There are security guards at the main gate and patrolling the property 24/7. I appreciated the little touches which are often missing from other flats for eg. There is toilet paper in both bathrooms when you get there so at least you can go to the toilet when you arrive before going out to get groceries. There are dishcloths and dish-washing liquid to start you off.Towels are provided (2 per person) and the kitchen and braai have everything needed. Lognath Maharaj is so "accommodating" - pardon the pun! He meets you when you arrive and is in contact with you about when you want to leave. DSTV is available for a small daily fee. The lounge is so comfortable - love the furniture! Extra blankets are available for each bed and the beds are so comfortable. One thing I could recommend as a necessary and added feature for peace of mind would be a small safe in the main bedroom cupboard. There is a luggage trolley and a lift so that older people can comfortably go from the parking to the flat and back. My nephew has Cerebral Palsy and couldn't take the stairs so I really appreciated the lift and the fact that the security guard on ground floor was prepared to go up with him if he was alone. Galleria Mall is 5 minutes away and it has everything you could want: loads of restaurants+shops, movies, ice rink, arcade games, bowling, PuttPutt and much more.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay this year and last year and would not hesitate to return.
