It's our second time staying in this unit at La Mustique and 3rd time at the La Mustique complex. We thoroughly love and enjoy 9 La Mustique, it's got awesome beach / ocean views from all three bedrooms. The beach is right on your front porch, needless to say we sleep like babies with the sound of the waves breaking on the sand.
We always take muffin baking trays along on our trip to make some delicious bakes. The oven is in tip top condition. It's lovely sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the sun set every evening ( no need to take any glasses :).
The only thing we battle with a bit is bathing a baby and a toddler in the bathtub, as it's a bath/ shower thus have a glass pain half way through the bathtub which makes it challenging to safely hold and bath a baby in the remaining piece of bath left without the glass door.
Complex is safe, furniture is sufficient and convenient, in general well equipped. There is a gas barbeque on the verandah overlooking the beach which is awesome.
As a family we love to sit on the main bed early morning and watch the sunrise over the ocean. It was late September when we visited La Mustique, and we were truly blessed to see easy between 4 to 10 hump back wales breach on the overcast / cloudy days. It's most likely the same family of whales moving around during the day, but at any given time on these days when we sat long enough to watch we'd see whales breaching, from the porch, main bedroom or lounge.
We'll be back again hopefully next year or the year after.
