44 Castleburn is totally out of this world… absolutely fabulous, fully equipped with everything and more, the art work is truly one of its kind. The entire unit is so spacious and well designed… it’s a perfect getaway … so modern, comfortable, clean and neat and perfectly positioned outside the dam, overlooking the mountains. The owner’s personal touch permeates throughout the property, he takes great pride in the end to end upkeep and maintenance of this house. The Resort is well maintained and spacious … we definitely look forward to our next getaway at this property!!

Blown away by the magnificent setting of the chalet right on the waters edge with uninterrupted views of the Drakensberg mountains and esp The Rhino Horn as it’s backdrop. The chalet is 5 star quality with bespoke furnishings and finishes, spacious, spotless and serviced daily. Highly recommend and will certainly return.

It's a long time since our last visit but my husband and I so enjoyed it. We loved the fishing and the relaxation being we are both in our mid 70s.

Castleburn is a beautiful resort with comfortable attractive accommodation .We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beautiful place was let down by noisy visitors playing loud music and leaving cigarette butts lying next to the dams. One Bering right outside our door. A stricter policy on the behavior of visitors should be enforced.

if you want to have the perfect location, nestled at the end of the resort with the perfect unobstructed view of the lake and the mountains, no other chalets obscuring your views, beautiful decor, fantastically stocked kitchen, a homely, cosy warm and welcoming place then you need to book at this unit. A spa bath upstairs overlooking the lake for romantic champagne bath; a fireplace in the lounge for those chilly evenings (wood supplied), what more can you ask for. The ducks come to greet every morning, the birdlife is prolific too. I could make this my permanent home....
