We had the pleasure of staying at 18 The Islands in September and what can I say, WOW!!! The unit is clean, beautifully decorated and extremely well-furnished with everything you can possibly think of, even books and games in case the weather is foul.

There is a splash pool with sun-loungers down below the parking bays and the unit itself has the most spectacular large balcony that overlooks the sea with the most breathtaking view you can imagine - a perfect spot for your morning cuppa or sun-downers and al fresco dining using the gas braai (BBQ).

We have had the pleasure of staying at this Unit before and I promise you, it never disappoints. We will definitely be back again and hopefully soon!

We had an excellent stay at number 18 The Islands in Shakas Rock on KZN's dolphin Coast. Aside from exquisite views and falling asleep to the crash of waves on the cliff below, the unit is lovely itself. Super private, set on the top floor with a gorgeous balcony, three beautiful bedrooms and an open plan lounge k itch dining area that opens onto the balcony. Lovely salty sea air drifts through the doors, there are lovely touches (games, books, beachy decor) and the whole apartment is welcoming and fabulous. To get these views you have to do some work, there are a few stairs to climb. But they say no pain no gain and the reward at the top is definitely worth it.
The kitchen is extremely well equipped and lacks nothing. The knives are even sharp (a real plus!). There's truly everything you need for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Take your family or yourself for a special treat.
