Petit Plaisir - Freestanding Self-catering cottage

Petit Plaisir cottage is the perfect romantic hideaway for couples who like to tour on their own terms. Our single cottage offers visitors the ultimate luxury: no porters or guests to disturb your privacy.

The cottage is fully equipped and stylishly decorated with the kind of understated sophistication that has earned us a four-star rating. We invite you to come and enjoy our peaceful seclusion and breath-taking vistas, and experience the pleasures of Franschhoek in your own sweet time.

We are child-friendly. A camping cot is available. For bigger children, we have a room at the back of the cottage, with bunker beds and separate bathroom. The entrance is from the swimming pool area.

Grande Plaisir - Situated on a back to back property of Petit Plaisir. The entire property is a free standing holiday home which consists of 2 units which are attached to each other, barbeque and pool are are to share. There is also an entrance between the 2 properties.

Grande Plaisir Protea unit: caters for 1 couple
Fully equipped, 1 bedroom, air-conditioned, with queen size bed, en-suite full bathroom with double showers and bath.
The kitchen is fully equipped .
The living room as a fireplace and DSTV. Free wifi on the entire property.

Grande Plaisir Villa: caters for 2 - 6 guests
Fully equipped, 3 bedrooms, all queen size beds, air-conditioned, en-suite bathrooms with double showers.
The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, etc. A dining room and big living area with DSTV, fireplace. Free wifi on the entire property.

Outside is a pool, with quality pool furniture, gardens, covered braai area with pizza oven and seating for 8 at a table.

Only 1 hour from Cape Town and 20 minutes from both Paarl and Stellenbosch, Franschhoek makes the perfect base from which to explore and enjoy the area.
