- Reservations
- All Reservations are to be made through our Central Reservation Office and are subject to availability.
- Tariffs shown are per room and every foom accommodates a maximum of 2 (two) adult guests.
- A surcharge of 25% (twenty five) of the applicable room rate applies to a maximum of 2 per suite, provided the child is 12 (twelve) or younger.
- Additional adult is 40% of the room rate.
- Infants under the age of 1 (one) are free; please note that the resort does not offer any additional facilities other than what is standard in our rooms. Please bring any Infant supplies with.
- Payment
- Any reservation is provisional and will only be confirmed when payment is made and received.
- Payment needs to done within 48 (forty eight) hours of making the provisional reservation.
A final confirmation will be emailed to you from our Central Reservation Office.
- All payments to be made via Electronic Transfers into the bank account listed below and confirmations of the payment to be emailed to res@paraiso.co.za please.
- Using your email address you used to make the reservation as a reference.
A 50% deposit (Non-Refundable) is required on confirmation and the balance at least 30 days prior to arrival (also Non-Refundable) if reservation is done within this period the full amount is payable on confirmation - for the Peak Season (March, April, December & January; 60 days apply). Should you not meet the stipulated payment deadlines Paraiso do Ouro reserves the right to cancel your reservation with-out any notice and will not be liable for any refund. Any payments received will not be refunded. We also provide in selected packages payment terms - these terms have to be adhered to to avoid cancelation of reservation and the forfeiting of moneys paid to date. - Changes and Cancelations
- Paraiso do Ouro does not accommodate any refunds on any cancelations, though we will gladly rebook you for alternative dates subject to availability and the rates applicable for the alternative dates required.
- This is totally at the discretion of Paraiso do Ouro.
- Changes need to be requested al least 30 days prior to arrival.
- Any change in dates will be rebooked one time and needs lo be for stay at Paraiso do Ouro within a 90 day period from the date of your arrival of your original reservation.
- If you don't select this option or it is within the 60 days period prior to your arrival you will forfeit 100% of the moneys paid.
- An Administration Fee will be charged for any changes requested by you.
- Cancellations by Paraiso do Ouro
- Paraiso do Ouro reserves the right, in any circumstances, to cancel the accommodation agreements, but all such decisions will be given to the agent/s or guests in writing via email, stating valid reasons.
- In instances where Paraiso do Ouro cannot provide accommodation as agreed upon then Paraiso do Ouro will return to the agent/s or client all monies paid, which shall constitute the full extent of Paraiso do Ouro liability to the agent/s or client, or Paraiso do Ouro may offer an alternate form of accommodation of comparable standards.
- Exclusions
- Paraiso do Ouro shall not be responsible for or liable to any agent / client who commits an illegal or unlawful act whilst in Mozambique.
- The client may return to his apartment provided that all matters have been resolved with the legal authorities and all fines / charges have been paid in full.
- Paraiso do Ouro reserves it right to be excluded from any such payments.
- Paraiso do Ouro will also not refund any part of payment made while the client is in incarceration.
- Should the client not return before the agreed check-out date, then Paraiso do Ouro reserves its right to retain all valuables in lieu of any outstanding payments due to Paraiso do Ouro by the client.
- Should there be no outstanding amount due by the client then Paraiso do Ouro will not be held accountable for any of the client's belongings.
- Right of Admission Reserved
- Paraiso do Ouro reserves its right to allow access to whomever it chooses unless other arrangements have been made.
- If Paraiso do Ouro considers the client unsuitable to accommodate, it may in its absolute discretion cancel such client's booking or decline to accept any undertakings.
- Paraiso do Ouro can ask any client to leave if they prove to be excessively abusive to staff or any other client, of a violent or destructive nature, or a client that could prove to be threat to any other client or staff, a client that endangers himself or anyone else, a client that commits a crime, or if a client has not made full payment to Paraiso do Ouro.
Baggage
All baggage and personal effects are at all times the clients risk and Paraiso do Ouro cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage caused.
- Jurisdiction and Law
- This contract shall be interpreted according to the laws of Mozambique.
- Liability
- Client bookings are accepted on the understanding that the Client appreciates the risks inherent in adventure travel and that the client undertakes the trip or any adventure attached to the package offered by Paraiso do Ouro at the Clients own risk.
- The client agrees that Paraiso do Ouro and its members of staff shall not be responsible for the loss or damage to property or injury or illness or loss of lifeor consequential damage which may occur from any cause whatsoever as long as Paraiso do Ouro does not act recklessly.
- The client and his/her dependants, heirs, members, associates, employees, representative, organizers, helpers or agents hereby indemnify and hold blameless Paraiso do Ouro and any part thereof of any claims whatsoever and howsoever arising and without limitation from any claim (including any consequential claim) arising from any delay, loss or damage to property or injury or illness or death arising from any cause whatsoever related to or occurring during the stay at Paraiso do Ouro, as long as Paraiso do Ouro does not act recklessly.
- Information
- Information given on the website, brochures, leaflets and advertising is given in good faith by Paraiso do Ouro, and these are based on the latest information available at the date of publication.
- Paraiso do Ouro reserves the right to change any of the facilities or accommodation described without becoming liable for compensation or refund.
- While every endeavour is made to keep to the prices advertised, the company reserves the right to increase the rates at any time due to any unforeseen increases or exchange rate fluctuations to which it may be subjected.
- Increase/surcharges may be applied even after confirmation of bookings.

Check-in and Check-out time / House Keeping / Breakfast and Meals - Check in time will be any time after 14h00 daily till latest 21hOO. (People arriving between 17h00 and 21hOO are to check-in at the main bar or in case reception is closed during normal hours) and Check-out time to be no later than 10h00.
- House keeping is done from 08HOO - 16HOO daily - Please hand in your key at reception for the cleaning to take place - You can collect your key again from reception prior to 16h30.
Breakfast is served from 08h15 to 10h30. Lunches and dinners are served through the day tlll 21HOO daily. These times are set but should you require an earlier/later meal, please make prior arrangements with the management on duty.
Resort Rules - Please note that Paraiso do Ouro is NOT a self catering resort.
- Any alcohol, food/ beverage brought onto the restaurant or bar area will be charged for at the current corkage rate. No OWN alcohol/ drinks or snacks are allowed in the restaurant deck or pool area.
- Open/coal braais are not permitted, except at the braai area.
- All facilities are for your convenience so please take care of it.
- Damaged equipment and property will be charged directly to your account.
- To avoid any unnecessary charges being levied against you, please inspect your apartments carefully and report to management any damages found.
- Failure to report damages will result in you being held liable for these costs.
- Please use air-conditioners sparingly. Make sure it is turned off when not needed.
- R500 refundable Key Deposit to be paid on arrival. Key Deposits must be paid in cash, or a 25% increase will be charged to cover IVA/ Bank Charges.
