Makhato 84 is a luxurious self-catering lodge in Sondela Nature Reserve, Bela-Bela, Limpopo and accommodates up to 8 people. It consists of a main bedroom with a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom (twin wash basins, corner bath, shower and loo) and a private door leading onto a little stoep area. The second bedroom has a double bed and a private door leading onto a little stoep area. The open plan loft has four single beds. Guests occupying the second bedroom and the loft will share the second bathroom, consisting of twin wash basins, a corner bath, a shower and loo.

Rooms are equipped with fans, linen and towels. Guests have to bring along their own swimming towels.

The loft has its own balcony on a wooden deck area with a table and four chairs, overlooking the braai area and a beautiful view of the bush.

The open plan living area has a comfortable couch and two chairs, with a flat screen TV, full DSTV coverage and PVR with radio.

The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with everything a cook may need - stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots and pans.

There is a spacious stoep with an eight seater dining room table, server, gas heater and weber braai leading to an outside boma area with a large braai area, a drum braai and rugged camping chairs. Guests have to bring along their own firewood or buy it from the shop next to reception when collecting their keys.

There is a splash pool about 100m from the lodge apart from the hot and cold swimming pools at the communal recreational area.
