Surrounding the spring is a beautiful pool of water, surrounded by willow and palm trees. This pool is home to a variety of aquatic life, including crabs and many fish, among which you will find a rare ciclid. The pool is also home to many water lilies.

On Seodin street, you will see a a camel thorn tree standing on the side of Seodin Road and this Thorn tree is rich in history. Back in 1914 a treaty was signed under its very branches guarantying the safety of government in return for a free passage through Kuruman.
