De Oudewerf guesthouse situated in a beautifully manicured large garden at 65 Berry St Queenstown, was originally a farmhouse in the district 120 years ago, and now finds itself conveniently situated near the towns schools, hospital and country club as the town grew around it. The guesthouse has eight rooms [see description] with fridges, microwaves and DSTV, and four self catering units set apart in the garden as an annex to the main building. Free Wi Fi is available.
The country/golf club nearby serves meals as does the top restaurant, the Gallery, just around the corner.
The town game reserve boasts seven Rhino with young, as well as giraffe and many antelope and other species. Trout fishing is a big attraction in the district, and is recognized as South Africas premium destination for trophy trout. There is A LIGHT AIRCRAFT airport with charter services from East London’s airport 170 km's away.
