• Out of season are a minimum stay of 3 nights 
• In season requires a minimum stay of 4 nights 

Payment terms

• Full prepayment required on confirmation of booking 
• Full prepayment required 48 hours before date of stay 
• A breakage deposit of R1000 - R2000 is required and will be refunded 7 days after departure via bank deposit.

Cancellation terms

• 1 month before date of stay full refund 
• More than 7 days before date of arrival 50% cancellation fee is refundable 
• Less than 7 days before date of arrival 0% cancellation fee is refundable
• No rental refunds will be made in the event that the property is vacated earlier than the period you have booked for due to inclement weather conditions, shortened length of stay or any other unforeseen circumstances.

Rules and Conditions

• The apartment is non smoking . This includes no hubbly pots, e-cigarettes or vapes.
• Unfortunately no pets allowed.
• Strictly a maximum of 4 guests can be accommodated . 
• Beach towels are not provided . Please provide your own.
• Checkin is 2pm and Checkout is 10am. R500.00 will be deducted from the deposit if the unit is vacated after 10am, unless alternative arrangements have been made with the owners of Unit 40 Chakas Rock Chalets.
•  Accommodation is occupied at the tenants own risk.
•  Only the number of people stated on the enquiry form are permitted on the premises that includes children/babies.
•  The people making the booking will be responsible for the other guests. (no booking for others)
•  This unit is not serviced. This can be arranged as an additional charge.
•  We cannot be held responsible for electricity/water interruptions.
•  No noise after 10 pm will be permitted as it is a residential area. Should there be a complaint from other residents the remainder of your stay will be forfeited and the breakage deposit will not be refunded.

•  We enter and use the Premises, parking areas, surrounds, stairs on the Premises & participate in any activities at the Premises entirely at my own risk.
•  Right of admission is reserved.
•  I warrant that I have advised all other guests in my group  We are aware of & accept that we will be exposed to risks and dangers and that we comprehend the risk & the implications thereof and under no circumstances will hold Unit 40 Chakas Rock Chalets liable.
•  Such risks and activities include without limitation pools, ponds, recreational areas, cats, dogs, glass sliding doors, fire pits, braai areas.
•  We agree to obey at all times any warning notices and instructions of Unit 40 Chakas Rock Chalets.
•  Visitors hold harmless and indemnify the owners, management, staff, directors of Unit 40 Chakas Rock Chalets and other guests (‘the Indemnified Parties’) against any consequences of visiting, participating in any activities or incidents at or arranged by Unit 40 Chakas Rock Chalets and waive any claims we may have.
•  It includes any loss of/damage to personal effects/property, any indirect, consequential, or special loss/damage, financial loss, illness, injury, harm or death howsoever caused & legal costs.
•  The primary guest takes full responsibility when signing the booking form for everyone’s indemnity on the premises and any issue/injury/damages should be taken up directly with the primary guest.
•  Parent/Legal Guardians are legally responsible for minors within their groups and any loss or injury will be the sole responsibility of the parent/legal Guardian and under no circumstances the responsibility of Unit 40 Chakas Rock Chalets staff/management/owner.
